Hiya! I’m Tia

I’m a certified Intuitive Health Coach and
Movement Specialist that helps women regain
respect
for their bodies through nutritious foods, intentional movement, and community.

My Story

When I say I’ve been there, what I really mean is I’ve been there – to the depths of diet culture and intrusive thoughts – and back many times. And not just for a season, I’m talking over the course of decades.

I was only eleven years old when I started developing body dysmorphia due to my competitive dance career. Severe food restrictions quickly followed when I entered my pre-teens.

On the outside I looked like a happy high-performer, and I convinced myself that that was true for years because I hadn’t actually been hospitalized. But on the inside, things were going haywire.

My body was sending me cues that something was wrong, and I continued to disregard them. I never actually believed that I was “sick enough” to pursue recovery – as if ending up in the hospital was the only signal to take action and better myself – until one night in college when I was walking up one flight of stairs… I had to sit down because my heart was pounding out of my chest.

This was my wakeup call to walk a new path toward healing and empowerment.

I got curious about the intricacies of the body’s digestive and nervous systems. I also studied the science of food to better understand how food impacts these systems. Then I sat in the discomfort of the thoughts and emotions that I had wanted to gain control over for so long. What I learned from this process is that all of these facets of healing are deeply interconnected, and healing itself is a never-ending journey.

It happens one small shift at a time, but you've gotta have the proper guidance and toolkit to make the right shifts in the first place.

Today I’m a certified Intuitive Health Coach and Movement Specialist that helps people untangle their disharmony and make small shifts in directions that feel really freakin’ good.  For over 6 years, I’ve worked with individuals and corporations alike, guiding people back to the basics of wellness one shift at a time.

My Why

To provide people with a holistic set of tools, support, and education they need to heal, make empowered decisions, and create a life they love.

The truth is most people have no idea how good their body is designed to feel. Not for lack of trying, but because they’ve grown disconnected from their breath, their bodies, and their emotions.

And while there's no magic bullet to wellness, there is medicine in empowerment – it starts with education.

Where science meets woo

Forget fad diets and restrictive routines. As an intuitive health coach and movement specialist, I bridge the gap between science and intuition to guide you towards a healthier, happier you. We'll do a deep dive into nutrition and how certain foods impact your body and mind. But we won't stop there. I'll also help you tune into your body's wisdom, uncovering emotional triggers and fostering a deeper connection with movement. It's not just about fitting into your jeans; this is about honoring your body's unique needs and moving with joy, making it possible to age gracefully and experience life to the fullest.
