The Secret to a Happy, Healthy Life? It’s Simpler Than You Think.

I’ll cut to the chase: the key to happiness isn’t about how many steps you take, the size of your bank account, or the number of green smoothies you down in a week.

It’s relationships. Periodt.

I know, I know. That might sound overly simple or even obvious, but here’s the kicker: most of us aren’t actually prioritizing relationships in a way that fuels us.

This insight comes straight from Robert Waldinger’s Harvard Study of Adult Development, which has been running for over 80 years. (Yes, 8-0!) It’s one of the longest and most respected studies on what makes life fulfilling. The takeaway? The quality of your relationships—not the quantity—is the number one predictor of happiness and health.

Not fame. Not money. Not crushing your workouts or working 60-hour weeks.

Instead, it’s about the people you surround yourself with, the depth of your connections, and the effort you put into nurturing those relationships. And here’s where it gets real: loneliness? It’s just as bad for you as smoking or obesity.

What This Means for Us

So why don’t we lean into this more? Maybe because our modern culture loves to romanticize self-reliance and hustle. We’re told to chase "success," and often, that means putting our heads down and losing sight of the people around us. (Guilty as charged.) But when we make space for meaningful connections, the ripple effects on our mental, emotional, and even physical health are undeniable.

This is why I’ve built relationships into the foundation of everything I do—from my 12-week Intuitive Health Coaching program to the retreats I host. Because it’s not just about what we eat or how we move—it’s also about who we do life with.

How I’m Bringing This to You

In my 12-week program, we talk about nourishing your body, yes, but we also focus on the relationships that nourish your soul. You’ll be part of a community of women who get it and are rooting for you every step of the way.

And let’s not forget my upcoming retreats. These aren’t your average "sit in a circle and sing kumbaya" kind of events (though no judgment if that’s your thing! On my Moroccan adventure, American Pie was sung around a fire and I loved every min of it).

These are immersive experiences designed to help you connect with yourself, with nature, and with others who are walking similar paths. Because let’s be real: the magic happens when you feel truly seen and supported by others.

The Challenge

Let’s get personal for a sec. When was the last time you checked in on your relationships? Not just the quick “Hey, how are you?” but the deep, real conversations that make you feel alive?

The ones where you laugh until you cry or finally let yourself be vulnerable?

If it’s been a while, don’t stress. You’re not alone, and there’s no shame in saying, “I want more of that in my life.

That’s why I’m here.

Whether it’s through coaching, a retreat, or just a friendly nudge in the right direction, I want to help you create space for those kinds of connections—because you deserve it.

Let’s Do This Together

So here’s my invitation to you: Let’s stop chasing happiness in all the wrong places. Let’s build it together—one relationship, one conversation, and one moment of courage at a time.

Are you ready? Let’s talk. I’ll save you a seat in the program or at the top of the mountain on our next retreat.

Because there’s nothing better than reaching the summit and looking around to see your people right there with you.

With so much love,
Tia
